The CCHS Library is a place for quiet study, homework, or reading. Students are expected to know
the following expectations for appropriate behavior:
All students in the library need to have a CCHS student pass during school hours. This pass needs to be
filled out and signed by a teacher. Upon arrival at the library, students are expected to stamp their pass
using the time clock. Passes should be left at the desk. Before leaving the library, students should find
their pass and stamp them with the exit time.
Students using computers need to sign in and out on the log sheet.
Teachers may sign up for class visits. During these visits, classes have priority on computers. Study Hall
students may be asked to return to class, if they do not have any alternative, appropriate work to do
in the library.
Use of the library is a privilege. Students are expected to be respectful of library staff and fellow students.
Misuse of library materials and resources, the defacing of library property and disruptive behavior of any
kind will result in the loss of library privileges and disciplinary action. Food and drink are not permitted
in the library because of the potential for damage to computers, furniture and library materials.
