Admissions representatives from area Catholic high schools are available to meet with prospective students regarding their academic and student life programs. Registration is not required.

Central Catholic High School Open House

Prospective students and families will have the opportunity to explore the CCHS campus; meet our teachers, counselors, students and staff; see science experiments in action; talk with coaches and advisors; and get a true feel of what makes Central Catholic so special. CCHS Preview Night for 6th & 7th Graders

Preview sessions will be held at 6:30 PM, 7:00 PM, and 7:30 PM. Each session is followed by a personalized tour of the CCHS campus.

Admissions Information


Admission to Central Catholic is selective.

Candidates for grade nine may apply to Central Catholic by using the CCHS Application Portal. We also will accept the Standard Application Online (SAO) in lieu of Central’s application.

In order to apply, candidates must submit the following materials either through the Application Portal or the SAO:

  1. Application for Admission;
  2. School Records;
  3. English Teacher Recommendation;
  4. Math Teacher Recommendation;
  5. School Official Recommendation; and
  6. Catholic High School Placement Test (HSPT) and/or SSAT score.

If you are using the CCHS Application Portal, you will be able to access your electronic recommendation and school records forms once you submit your Application for Admission.
