 | The pursuit of academic excellence is a hallmark of Central Catholic High School.
Teachers, guidance counselors, the administration, and the entire staff are committed to the academic growth of each student entrusted to our care.
Virtually 100% of our graduates move on to college annually. Members of recent graduating classes are currently studying at some of the finest universities in the nation and the world, including Harvard University, Brown University, the University of Notre Dame, Boston College… and the list goes on. The success of our students on AP Exams far outpaces the national standards (93% of students who take these college level, College Board accredited classes pass the exams).
Several of our academic programs serve as a model for other schools and educators, and we continue to expand our offerings through recent partnerships with Virtual High School and Syracuse University’s Project Advance, a dual enrollment program through which students can earn college credits from Syracuse for classes they take at Central Catholic.
Students currently have the opportunity to take Mandarin Chinese.
The success of our students and graduates is rooted in a culture of academic excellence that fosters scholarship and intellectual curiosity, a culture created by a dedicated administration and teachers with high standards, high expectations, and an extraordinary ability to teach, mentor, and inspire students.
As a result, students are given the knowledge, critical thinking skills, tools, support, discipline, and encouragement to succeed in high school, in college, and in life. |
