Blake Hebert '25 Commits to Clemson

Congratulations to student-athlete and Raider quarterback Blake Hebert '25, who has announced his commitment to continue his academic and football career at Clemson University in Fall 2025!

On Friday, June 16, Blake was joined by his family, Raider teammates and coaches, and members of the media to announce his decision from Raider Field on the Central Catholic High School Campus.

Starting for the Raider football team during his sophomore season, Blake completed 111 of 185 passes for 1,748 yards, 24 touchdowns, and just one interception in 12 games.

In addition to being a standout athlete, Blake is dedicated to his academics and is a member of the National Honors Society and the Student Ambassador Program.

"The community and feeling that Central Catholic produces is what makes it so special!" said Blake.

Blake credits Head Varsity Football Coach John Sexton '97 for his positive experience at CCHS: "Coach Sexton has helped me improve not only as a football player, but as a man as well."

"Blake is one of the hardest working, most focused athletes I've ever been around," said John Sexton ‘97, CCHS Head Varsity Football Coach.

"He has a dream of being a Power 5 Conference QB, and he works toward that dream every day. This is a big step in making that a reality. We congratulate him, his parents and teammates for this great honor."

Raider Athletics represents a proud tradition of excellence that enriches the Central Catholic experience for both participants and spectators.


Our student-athletes bring home State, Sectional, and Conference Championships on a regular basis while representing the school community with pride.

Central Catholic offers twenty-seven (27) Varsity sports in competitions governed by the Massachusetts Interscholastic Athletic Association (MIAA) and the Merrimack Valley Conference (MVC) as well as two (2) seasons of Cheerleading under the Massachusetts Secondary School Administrators' Association (MSSAA).

More than half of our student body, approximately 800 students, compete on at least one of these teams, an experience that fosters teamwork, dedication, sportsmanship, and the pursuit of excellence, lessons that carry over into all aspects of life.
