Congratulations to Caitlin Klauer '17, who won national titles in synchronized swimming as an All-American student-athlete at Stanford University.

Caitlin Klauer helped Stanford win the USA Artistic Swimming Collegiate national championship in synchronized swimming. Klauer won national titles in both trio and 8-person team events along with the overall team title.

A Raider Family

Caitlin's brother Matt graduated from Central Catholic in 2015, the University of Notre Dame in 2019, and is currently pursuing a doctorate at Duke University; her brother Daniel is graduating from Central Catholic this year as a member of the Class of 2021 and will be attending Northeaster University, and her brother Thomas is entering Central Catholic this fall as a member of the Class of 2025.

Raider Athletics

Raider Athletics represents a proud tradition of excellence that enriches the Central Catholic experience for both participants and spectators.


Our student-athletes bring home State, Sectional, and Conference Championships on a regular basis while representing the school community with pride.

Central Catholic offers twenty-seven (27) Varsity sports in competitions governed by the Massachusetts Interscholastic Athletic Association (MIAA) and the Merrimack Valley Conference (MVC) as well as two (2) seasons of Cheerleading under the Massachusetts Secondary School Administrators' Association (MSSAA).

More than half of our student body, approximately 800 students, compete on at least one of these teams, an experience that fosters teamwork, dedication, sportsmanship, and the pursuit of excellence, lessons that carry over into all aspects of life.
