I tried my best to be a good role model and stay positive to cheer the girls on."
- Faculty Role Model:
- "Mr. Cavanaugh (Mr. Richard Cavanaugh, Science Teacher) and Mr. Sansoucie (Mr. Matthew Sansoucie '06) were major factors in the growth of my love for the school. I always felt welcome in their classrooms and knew that they always wanted what was best for myself and my classmates."
- "The faculty member with the most impact on my success at Central Catholic is easily Coach Grange (Ms. Casey Grange '03 Asst. Dir. of Athletics/Basketball Coach). She coaches the Girls Varsity Basketball team, which I have been on since sophomore year. The amount of growth I have experienced while a member of the team is a direct result of her coaching and her care for her players has impacted me for the better as both a player and a person."
- Legacy: Sisters Margaret Smith '21 and Annika Smith '22. Her mother Mrs. Kathleen Smith is a CCHS Math Teacher.
- About CCHS: "One of the most special things about Central Catholic is the sense of community. I have met some of my best friends here, and I am confident we will remain friends beyond high school. I always felt like I had someone to talk to, whether it was a classmate, friend, or teacher. Going to sports games, student ambassador events, band concerts, Theatre ;Guild productions, and more, I always knew fellow classmates or teachers would also be there in support."

- Sports: Cross Country, Track & Field
- Sports Played at CCHS: Cross Country, Indoor and Outdoor Track & Field
- Other CCHS Activities: National Honor Society (Vice President), Be The Cause
- Community Service: "One of my favorite memories involving community service is the community-oriented tasks that the Cross Country team partakes in every year. Two of my favorite examples of these tasks are when we clean up trash around the Lawrence reservoir, and when we assist Lazarus House with an activity of their choosing. Cleaning up the reservoir allows for the young men on the Cross-Country team to see their work helping the community of Lawrence directly, and I believe makes us more observant of our behavior in daily life. As for helping Lazarus House, my favorite memory is from last year, when the team helped with cleaning up a home that housed people in need. It was great to know that we were directly improving the lives of those who needed it."
- Faculty Role Model: Coach Robert Benedetto '89 and Coach Michael Leal '94 have made my experience at Central the best it could possibly be. Coach Benedetto has really assisted me with everything I could ask for and more. He has made me push myself when I didn’t believe I could push myself any further and has taught me not only about how to become a better runner but how to become a better man as well. Coach Leal has always been honest with me. He tells me when I fall short, but always believes that I can step up again when I’m needed. I appreciate everything he has done for me, and his honesty makes celebrating with him that much better because I know that it is real."
- About CCHS: "Central has a willingness and a goal of helping the whole person, not just the academic side of us. You hear that central is a family, and I think because it’s said so often people can forget what that really means. I don’t think there has been a single day where I haven’t felt supported by at least one person in this community. I am so grateful for the people I have met here, and for what I have learned from all of them."
