The Athletic Hall of Fame recognizes those individuals who distinguished themselves on the Raider playing fields or in endeavors associated with Raider athletics.
Inaugurated in 1981, the Athletic Hall of Fame has 125 inductees and strives to honor individuals for “excellence in the ranks of those who wore the Central Catholic Red and Blue.”

News from Raider Athletics
Congratulations to Nathan Blanchette '24 on winning a National Championship, earning his second straight New England Wrestling Championship, completing an undefeated season, and being named the Eagle-Tribune Wrestler of the Year!
Congratulations to the Raider Gymnastics Team on its second straight Merrimack Valley Conference D1 Championship, the North Sectional Championship, an undefeated season, and the 2022 MVC Meet Championship. Congratulations to Camryn Rueda '23, All-Around State Champion!
Congratulations to the outstanding Raider Student-Athletes who recently committed to play collegiate-level sports next year: Ty Cannistraro '23, Grace Cashman '23, Katherine Ciesielski '23, Matthias Latham '23, and Ava Pawlus '23.
Nine Raider student-athletes participated in the first-ever Merrimack Valley Conference Student-Athlete Leadership Summit in January at the Tsongas Arena in Lowell. The summit brought student-athletes from all member schools together for presentations and discussions to further strengthen the league as one of the top high school leagues in the state.
This past fall, Stephen J. Kelley '64 retired after 56 years at the Boys & Girls Club of Lawrence, where he's transformed the lives of countless children. Central Catholic was proud to celebrate Steve and his impact on Lawrence and the wider world at Steve Kelley '64 Night at Raider Boys Basketball.
We are excited to announce that Mr. John Sexton '97 has been named the next Head Coach of Raider Football after an extensive search that began after Mr. Chuck "Coach A" Adamopoulos stepped down in November. Coach Sexton is well positioned to lead Raider Football after serving as a coach for over 20 years.
Members of the Raider Ski & Snowboard Club spent Sunday, January 15, at Waterville Valley - the second of several ski outings this winter and one of several ways Raiders can explore their love of skiing and the great outdoors!
