CCHS students present business project at Babson College

Over the last three-months – in addition to rigorous academic schedules and athletic commitments - a group of entrepreneurial Central Catholic students volunteered to learn the ups and downs of starting, managing, and ultimately liquidating an actual business venture.

Over April vacation, 19 Raiders (14 students and five adults) traveled to Newburg, NY as part of Project Rebuild. Working with Habitat for Humanity, they helped construct housing for those most in need. Thank you to coordinator Bro. Jim Halliday, the adult chaperones, and the students for ling out the Marist ideal of service to those in need.

Catwalk4Cancer Had Students and Survivors Strutting the Runway

The 12th Annual Catwalk4Cancer - a much anticipated student-powered fashion event that supports cancer research and education – recently had students strutting the runway to help find a cure. Throughout the show’s 12 years, Catwalk4Cancer has raised over $350,000 with the 2019 proceeds benefiting: Lucy's Love Bus, Anna Jacques Cancer Center, Lowell General Hospital, Lawrence General Hospital, The Kylie Rowland Foundation.

The Lowell Sun recently profiled three Central Catholic alumni and Air Force Veterans; Alex Landry '59, Joseph Zangri '60, and George Samataro '71; who come together weekly to bowl on Thursday evenings.
