"Look for the Helpers"

Raider Nation has risen to the occasion in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Students, staff, parents, and alumni are writing letters, making masks, shopping for those at risk and in need, caring for the sick, and serving on the front lines of the emergency medical response.

Raider Day of Service: May 6

People loading truck in front of gymnasium

Thank you to all those who contributed to the Raider Day of Service at Central Catholic on May 6 - from the families who brought much-needed items, to the faculty and staff who collected and organized the donations, to Lazarus House Ministries for making it possible and for the good they do each and every day.

We not only filled the truck, but staff had to go get an additional van!

The day began with a remote prayer service at 8:30 AM followed by the "Pop Your Trunk" initiative to help our neighbors at Lazarus House Ministries!

Remote Service Opportunities

Students can continue with service opportunities by working remotely with different agencies through some of the volunteer opportunities included below!

Several of our service partners are in need of help! Students, see below for how to submit your service hours for the One Day Service Program.

It is important to follow guidelines and restrictions set by your local government agencies and health organizations for staying safe during this time. Before beginning any of these activities, talk to your parents or guardians to ensure that your chosen activity fits within safety guidelines.

Support Your Local Businesses!

Local businesses can use your help now more than ever during the COVID-19 pandemic. We have created a page listing our Corporate & Community Partners and other local businesses. We advise that you call the locations before visiting to confirm hours and procedures.

Support Local Businesses

To add your business to the list, please complete the "I am a Local Business" form.

“I have set you an example that you should do as I have done for you.”

John 13:15

As Jesus lived a life of humility and service to others, we are also called to serve. As Marists, we are called to make Jesus known and loved while caring for the least favored and those in need.
