A Discovery Experience for 7th & 8th Graders
Seventh and eighth graders are invited to participate in exciting enrichment classes that combine learning, creativity, and fun.
Through hands-on activities and interactive experiences, students will discover new interests, make new friends, and experience all that Central Catholic has to offer.
- 3:30 PM - 6:30 PM
- Includes Pizza Dinner
- Several Labs to Choose From
- Led by Central Catholic Faculty
- Often followed by a CCHS student event (arts or sports)

AI Remix Lab
Build Music, Motion & Code
This hands-on class blends music, movement, and computer science into one creative studio.
Students will remix songs with code, design a custom digital dancer using AI, and experiment with event-driven programming.
Along the way, they’ll learn beginner-friendly Computer Science skills and see how today’s tech creators bring sound, motion, and coding together.

Join us as we take a trip around the world.
Earn your passport stickers for each country we visit through virtual exhibits, food tasting, traditional music, language, and creating art.

VEX IQ Robotics
Calling all young engineers!!
Interested in Robotics?
This session introduces students to robotics concepts with the VEX IQ robotics platform.
Participants will have fun while learning the process of designing and constructing a robot that can solve various tasks.
Students will be actively involved in creative thinking, problem solving, and teamwork skills as well as developing skills in STEAM.

Join us as we unlock some of Christmas’s secrets.
How does Santa’s sleigh fly? How do Santa’s animal friends stay warm in the North Pole? What are all the colors of the lights of a Christmas Tree? And can you make Santa’s favorite ice cream?
These are all questions that we will try to answer as we uncover the hidden science behind the Christmas season.
