As part of our National Girls & Women in Sports Day efforts, Central Catholic's Imprescia Center for Female Sports Leadership hosted a guest speaker, Susie Castillo, who discussed Power, Presence, and Purpose. Thank you to Ms. Castillo and to the Imprescia Center for offering this opportunity to our female student-athletes!

Congratulations to the four outstanding Raider Student-Athletes who recently committed to play collegiate sports at the Division 1 or 2 level next year: Caden Chase '26, Arianna DiPietro '26, Gianna DeMedeiros '26, and Abigalee Torres '26.

Congratulations to Javi Lopez '26, All-Scholastic guard and captain of the Raider Boys Basketball Team, on becoming the all-time leading scorer for Raider basketball! 

Now that most of the post season accolades are in, we are excited to highlight and celebrate the success of our Fall Sports Teams and Student-Athletes. Congratulations on successful and hard-fought seasons - including two Final Four Teams (state semifinalists) and three MVC Championships!

Congratulations to Sarah Tressler '27, who has been named an All-American for girls soccer! She is just the second All-American in program history (the first since 2016). Sarah excels on the field, in the classroom, and through her commitment to leadership and service.

Raider spirit and gratitude were on full display this Thanksgiving season! Thank you to everyone who participated in the abundance of blessings and activities - including the Annual Food Drive for Lazarus House, the Thanksgiving Prayer Service, the Coach O'Sullivan Alumni Race, the Thanksgiving Day Football Game, and Class Reunions!

Earlier this month, the Imprescia Center for Female Sports Leadership hosted an interactive Fueling for Performance Nutrition Workshop with Amanda Feldman, MS, RD from Fuel Forward. Over 60 female student-athletes participated.

Congratulations to the three outstanding Raider Student-Athletes who recently committed to play collegiate sports at the Division 1 or 2 level next year: Lucy Irwin '26, Maddox Moscardini '26, Ally White '26.

Join us as we celebrate the Thanksgiving Season at Central Catholic High School! Events include the annual Thanksgiving Food Drive, the Thanksgiving Prayer Service, the Coach O'Sullivan Race & Walk, Raider Reunions, and the Thanksgiving Day Football Game.

Raider Football has advanced to the D1 Final Four and is playing for a spot in the Super Bowl in their State Semifinal game on Friday, November 21, at 6:00 PM against St. John's Prep School at Burlington High School.

Seven Raider Athletics Teams will be competing in the MIAA State Tournament and Conference Championships this weekend through Monday!! Be sure to catch some playoff competition either in person or online.

Congratulations to all the Raider alumni who are competing in college athletics! There are currently 24 Raiders competing in collegiate football this fall.

Students, faculty, and staff were welcomed back to campus for the new academic year with upgraded turf for Raider Field on Auburn Street, a sparkling Memorial Gymnasium floor, a beautifully painted mural in the Campus Ministry Office, and a renovated TechLab.

In July, Cam Devanney '15 became the first Raider to make a Major Leage Baseball Roster. On August 31, he became the first Raider to play in a Major League game, making his debut as a Pittsburgh Pirate at Fenway Park! Congratulations, Cam!

Now that all the post season accolades are in, we are excited to highlight and celebrate the success of our Spring Sports Teams and student-athletes. Congratulations on successful and hard-fought seasons.

Congratulations to Kerri Finneran '25 on two additional honors as she concludes one of the most accomplished athletic careers in CCHS history! Kerri has been named the District 4 Phelps Scholar and the Will McDonough/MIAA Athlete of the Year.

On May 14, 2025, we celebrated 20 Central Catholic student-athletes who have committed to continue their academics and to participate in collegiate athletics. Congratulations and good luck to these accomplished Raiders!

Now that all the post season accolades are in, we are excited to highlight and celebrate the success of our Winter Sports Teams and student-athletes - including six MVC Championships and over 50 All-Conference Players!

Congratulations to Raider Gymnastics, MIAA North Sectional Champions, Raider Cheerleading, MVC Champions, and the Raider Dance Team on their outstanding exhibition performance.

Congratulations to the Raider Girls Hockey Team on winning their first-ever league title and advancing to the playoffs! They are joined by fellow league champions Raider Girls Gymnastics, Raider Boys Indoor Track & Field, Raider Girls Indoor Track & Field, and Raider Boys Basketball!
