Student News
National Hispanic Heritage Month is celebrated each year from September 15 through October 15. Through a collaboration between various Central Catholic groups and organizations, we will be celebrating throughout the month and beyond with various activities throughout the school. Everyone is invited to participate.
Congratulations to Arnav Lele '24 and Navin Ramesh '24, who have been named Semifinalists in the prestigious 2024 National Merit® Scholarship Program competition. Arnav and Navin are exceptional leaders inside and outside the classroom!
A group of Central Catholic students volunteered with KIDS 2 Summer Camp at the Marist Brothers Center at Esopus NY for one week in August. KIDS 2 is a sleepaway camp for individuals with special needs from the ages of 15 to 30 years old.
This summer, Ruthsmarie Ogando '24 and Evan Fernandez '25 participated in Vision for High School Students - a faith-filled retreat held on the University of Notre Dame campus as part of Notre Dame's McGrath Institute for Church Life.
The Karate Club wrapped up the 2022-2023 school year with a Beach Training and Recognition Event at Salisbury Beach. Congratulations to the students and to Mr. Jarrod Brown '98, moderator and instructor.
This July, several members of the Class of 2025 and three alumni spent a week participating in Marist Youth Leadership Camp 2023 at the Marist Brothers Center in Esopus, NY, with over 100 rising juniors, staff, and young alumni from the other Marist high schools in the United States (and one from Quebec).

Congratulations to Madison DiPietro '20, who has begun her senior season as a Midfielder for the University of Connecticut Huskies Field Hockey Team. Madison, who is working to overcome a back injury, was recently featured in the Eagle-Tribune.
The Central Catholic community is excited to welcome our newest group of dedicated educators and staff members as we begin the 2023-2024 Academic Year.
Congratulations and good luck to Nicholas Mazzie '21, the starting kicker for the University of New Hampshire Wildcats Football Team. Nick was recently highlighted in the Eagle-Tribune.
Congratulations to Aidan Bowler '20, a senior biology major at the College of the Holy Cross who recently participated in a college summer research project: How Road Salt Affects The Blackstone: Holy Cross Summer Research 2023.
Congratulations and good luck to Oshoyanogue Omoyeni '18, captain of the University of New Hampshire Wildcats Football Team. Osho graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration and is currently pursuing his MBA.
Thank you to everyone who supported this year's Golf Classic, resulting in one of our largest turnouts ever and raising nearly $60,000 for scholarships and additional resources for students through our Fulfilling the Promise Program!
