Because the National Day of Silence on April 23 falls during our school vacation, the Spectrum Club distributed "You Will Be Found" buttons this week, showing care & concern for the LGBTQ+ community. Thank you to the Spectrum Club and to all members of CCHS who participated!
The Theatre Guild, now in its 50th season, is currently rehearsing and filming A Festival of One-Act Plays that will debut online April 30! The festival consists of three show: Trifles by Susan Glaspell, The Summer People by Shirley Jackson, and The Great Pandemonium by Pat Cook.
As a CCHS community, we mourn the passing of two extraordinary Raiders - G. Thomas Catalano '50 and Ronald T. Maheu '60, each having served as valued members of the Board of Directors, and whose contributions as leaders will continue to benefit our students for generations to come.
As we enter the Triduum and greatly anticipate the Joy and Hope that comes with our Lord’s rising on Easter Sunday, please know that all members of the Central Catholic Family were remembered in prayer as the we held our Lenten Prayer Service, streamed from the Carney Family Chapel on Holy Thursday.
As a CCHS community, we mourn the passing of Ronald T. Maheu '60, a cherished member of the Central Catholic family who was passionate in emphasizing the importance of establishing and growing the CCHS endowment.
As a CCHS community, we mourn the passing of G. Thomas (Tom) Catalano '50, who was instrumental in responding to the critical needs of Central Catholic over the years. His generosity ensured that hundreds of Central Catholic students have - and will continue to make - incredible advances in the arts, technology, and sciences.
During the month of March, Central Catholic’s Fine & Performing Arts Department celebrated “Music in Our Schools Month.” Thank you to Mrs. Danielle Marine, Department Chair and Music Teacher/Band Director, for coordinating these efforts and for helping to make music such an important part of life at CCHS!
