On Friday, November 22, Central Catholic will be holding Walk 2019, our annual student fundraising event.

The CCHS Walkathon has raised over $1.5 million since 2000, funding important initiatives that directly impact the student experience.

Please consider supporting our students and staff through this important event!

Walk 2019 will fund...

The Raider Café: The Raider Pub has been a gathering place for generations of students. It will be completely renovated for the 21st Century and renamed. This initiative is a combined effort of Walk 2018 and Walk 2019.

A New Sound System for the Rogers Memorial Theater.

The CCHS Family Fund: 10% of Walk 2019 proceeds will help CCHS families affected by tragedies. 

  • Seniors, your 10% will go toward The Ryan D. Driscoll '20 Memorial Scholarship Fund.

About the Walk

The Walkathon is Central Catholic’s sole, student-based fundraiser to benefit the school and is supported by the Parents Guild and the Student Council.

The rote is a two-mile walk around the city, and each student is asked to bring in $75 in sponsorships.

The money raised is used to help pay for initiatives that are not covered by tuition, helping to stretch the operating budget and keep tuition down while enhancing the educational experience of students.

The Parents Guild and corporate sponsors help underwrite the cost of the event so that student-sponsorships can be used to make improvements that directly benefit the students.
