Welcome to Central Catholic High School & the Parents Guild!

Many participate in the mission of the school through the Parents Guild, volunteering to help at various school events throughout the year.

Your involvement in these events provides you the opportunity to meet and work with other CCHS parents in support of Central Catholic.

Parental participation is FUN, rewarding, and essential to the success of all Parents Guild endeavors.

Freshman Orientation

Volunteers will be needed to help with lunch on Friday, September 13, as the Class of 2028 comes together.

Raider Campus Store

The Raider Campus Store carries a wide variety of popular school items including clothing and supplies. Volunteers are required beginning the first week of school. Training is needed. The store is open Monday through Friday, 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM and 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM. In addition to daily hours, volunteers are needed at a number of events to sell campus store items. These events include Homecoming, Open House, Parent/Teacher Conference Nights, Sports Award Nights, Accepted Students Night, and Orientation Night for New Students and Parents. A minimum of two store shifts per month is required. Please indicate your interest and availability. You will be contacted to discuss your specific availability.​​​​​​

Freshman Family Liturgy & Reception

Members of the freshman class and their families are invited to come together for a liturgy at 6:30 PM followed by a light reception.  Help is needed for this event.

Freshman Grandparents Day

Help is needed before, during, and after this very popular annual event which invites grandparents to join their freshman students for lunch and a tour of CCHS. Volunteers are needed from 9:30 AM - 1:30 PM to set up tables and clean up after lunch.

Faculty/Staff Appreciation

The Parents Guild hosts appreciation events for the faculty and staff. Parents in all grades donate the needed supplies: paper products, beverages, entrees, etc. Volunteers are needed primarily for food/beverage donations. There are roughly 130 staff served.​​

Hospitality Events

Volunteering at Open House, Accepted Students Night, Orientation Night for New Students and Parents, and Preview Night 6th and 7th Graders. Each event has a 2-3 hour time commitment. Tasks include greeting guests, serving refreshments and set-up/clean-up.​​​​

Walkathon

The CCHS annual Walkathon is Central Catholic's largest and ONLY student fundraiser to benefit the school. There are a number of subcommittees that need your help! As an example, volunteers are needed to solicit Walk prizes (ongoing), count money on collection days, prepare and sort Walk mailers. Also, volunteers are needed to set up breakfast in the gym and work at check in stations the day of Walk. This event requires numerous volunteers. Many hands make light work!!! Note: parents who sign up to volunteer for Walk and help with tasks such as counting, sorting, soliciting prizes, etc will be given first priority to volunteer the day of the Walkathon.​​​​​

Concession Stand: Raider Café

The Raider Café is open during all home basketball games. Food and snacks are prepared and sold during these games. Many volunteers are needed each game to set-up, sell, and clean-up the Café for each game. Once the sports schedule is set, specific days and times will be shared with parent volunteers. Time commitment varies, but 2-3 hours is typical.​​​

The Parent Gala: Bids and Bites

We will be holding our annual 'A Night of Bids and Bites' in March. Volunteers are needed to assist with a variety of initiatives and tasks leading up to the event and at the event.​​​​​

Freshman Retreat

Volunteers needed at Camp Marist in Center Ossipee, NH to help serve lunch for the freshman class. Time commitment is from 9:30 AM to 4:00 PM. We'd love for volunteers to stay for the entire day, but if your time allows for only a shorter shift we'd still love to have you aboard. It's a fun day right on the scenic lake.

On-Call Volunteers

Help is needed during busy times in the Admissions Office and in the Advancement & Alumni Office to assist with a variety of support tasks. Should be willing to be called on very short notice and understand that it is ok to say, "No."

Uniform Sales

Volunteers are needed to set up, sell, and break down. Donations of gently used uniform tops and bottoms will be for sale for current families at reduced prices (normally $5-$10).​​​​​

Raider Day of Giving

This powerful 24-hour online fundraising effort connects everyone who loves and supports the mission of Central Catholic High School.​ Parent volunteers are needed to help spread the word.​

Golf/Auction Committee

Parents are needed to help acquire auction items (live and silent) for the annual CCHS Golf Classic held in July (7/28/2025) to benefit the school. In addition, parents are needed to actively promote participation in the event among other parents.​​​​​
