Congratulations to our 2025 AP Scholars!

Congratulations to the 323 CCHS students who sat for 786 Advanced Placement exams in 30 different subject areas during the spring of 2025, achieving scores that exceeded state and global averages, led by the 153 students who were named AP Scholars.

This significant achievement is accomplished through Central Catholic’s highly successful Advanced Placement (AP) Program consisting of 28 AP courses ranging from AP Biology to AP Studio Art, as well as AP Capstone™, which is a diploma program from the College Board that is based on two yearlong AP courses: AP Seminar and AP Research.

The 2025 AP Report

• 88.5% of CCHS students passed their AP exams with a three (3) or higher – above the national average!
• 323 students took 786 Exams
• 30 AP Courses tested on
• 88 Students with an average score of 4 or higher on all exams (minimum 3 exams)
• 153 Students were named AP Scholars
  • 77 AP Scholars with Distinction
  • 23 AP Scholars with Honors
  • 53 AP Scholars
• AP Capstone:
  • 13 students earned the AP Capstone Diploma
  • 3 students earned AP Seminar and Research Certificates
