Historic Performance at DECA Business Competition

Best results ever: 46 Students Qualify for State Conference in Boston

The Central Catholic DECA Team set a new benchmark with an extraordinary number of students qualifying for the DECA State Career Development Conference.

The district-level competition showcased the exceptional talent of Central Catholic’s future business leaders.

Participating in a fierce business competition that featured over 50 categories spanning marketing, hospitality, finance, and entrepreneurship, Central stood out among the ten schools and over 1,300 students in attendance.

A delegation of 85 students represented Central Catholic at the conference, and an impressive 46 students have earned the privilege of advancing to the State Career Development Conference, scheduled to take place from March 7 through March 9 in Boston. This achievement underscores the commitment to excellence and determination demonstrated by the Central DECA Team.

The dedication and hard work of Central DECA participants were celebrated during a virtual awards ceremony, where those who secured a top-7 placement in their respective categories were not only recognized for their accomplishments but also earned the honor of qualifying for the State Conference.

The State Conference is eagerly anticipated, as it will provide a glimpse into the exciting opportunities awaiting these aspiring business professionals.

The Central Catholic DECA Team expresses gratitude for the support received from the school community, parents, and faculty at the high school.
