Socks for our Neighbors in Need

Socks for our Neighbors in Need

During their third Annual Sock Drive, members of the National Honor Society collected 2,656 pairs of socks to help our neighbors in need during the chilly winter months. Well done, Raiders!

Did you know that one of the most asked for clothing items by people in need is socks?

For the third straight year, members for the NHS have done something about it!

They collected 2,656 pairs of socks during their annual sock drive to help our neighbors during these very chilly months of Winter!

The donated socks will be distributed to various organizations, including:

  • Lazarus House Ministries in Lawrence
  • The Red Cross Disaster Relief Program
  • The Community Giving Tree in Lawrence
  • Debbie’s Treasure Chest in Lawrence

These organizations play a vital role in supporting our community members during challenging times.
