Jillian Atwood '20, Graduate Student Speaker

Jillian, who completed a Graduate Center Communications Fellowship and earned her Master's In Communication from Merrimack College, was selected as the graduate student speaker at Commencement. She served as the Graduate Student Senate President.

From Merrimack College:

Meet Jillian Atwood M’25! As she prepared to address her classmates at Commencement as this year's graduate student speaker, Jillian reflected on her time at Merrimack. She came to pursue a master's degree in communication with a concentration in integrated marketing and left with support from dedicated professors, professional development opportunities and countless impactful experiences.

In her role as Graduate Student Senate president, Jillian strived to make everyone's MC experience the best it could be. She found new ways to engage remote students, supporting Merrimack's growing online graduate programs, and helped secure professional development grants that enabled students across programs to attend conferences and earn certifications.
