We believe in something bigger than ourselves.

Rooted in the values of the Marist Brothers, we seek to embody humility and compassion in all we do. Here, students of all faiths and religious identities share a commitment to serve those most in need.

At Central Catholic, you’ll experience an inclusive journey of personal growth while making a positive impact on the world.

We are Marist & Catholic.

We believe in our own potential and in the goodness of others.

Guided by the vision of Saint Marcellin Champagnat, we are inspired to make the world a better place by serving and leading.

Rooted in the values of the Marist Brothers, we seek to embody humility and compassion in all we do.

Be Marist. Make a Difference.

Central students are inspired to improve the world through spiritual and moral growth, hard work, and meaningful connections. While they may not all share the same faith, they are all inspired by our shared Marist values to serve the least favored and grow in their personal relationships with God.

At Central, service will shape who you are and how you live – and daily opportunities to develop, practice, and express your faith will help you build a strong moral foundation that will support you for life.

The Marist Service Experience

All students participate in our Marist Service Experience, known as One Day, in which Central Catholic High School students give at least one day (24 hours) of service to those who need it most.

Over 80% of CCHS students give well beyond their one day of service and continue to assist those in need. The program grows from the mission of Central Catholic High School: to make Jesus known and loved, to educate the whole person, and to serve others, especially the least favored.

Service projects and opportunities are designed to help students discover how they can make a difference in our world by leading and through building relationships with the least favored. Students often volunteer their time to assist the poor, the homeless, the sick, the elderly, those in nursing homes or assisted living, as well as people with disabilities or special needs.

Students gather on beach facing lakes

On Tuesday, April 28, the Class of 2029 traveled to Ossipee Lake in New Hampshire to explore what it means to be a Raider and to be Marist as part of the Freshman Retreat at Camp Marist!

The five retirees on stage

On Monday, April 27, the CCHS Community celebrated our five retiring faculty and staff members and those who have achieved milestones this academic year. Thank you for your commitment to our students, to your profession, and to the mission of Central Catholic and the Marist Brothers!

The image shows a group of people, including a person dressed as a large Easter egg character and a person dressed as the Easter Bunny, posing together in what appears to be a school or office setting.

Central Catholic wishes you and your families a Blessed Holiday as we celebrate the Joy & Promise of Easter! Thank you to all those who contributed to our Mass for Wednesday of Holy Week. Thank you to the Easter Bunny and the Easter Egg for spreading joy throughout campus!

Four students at scoring table with kids in bleachers behind them

In 2023-2024, students in the Poverty, Policy, and Justice Course conceived and organized a new initiative to raise much-needed funds for our neighbors at Lazarus House Ministries. This year's class continued their efforts and raised over $4,000 for this important cause as part of the 3rd Annual Scoops and Hoops Charity Basketball Tournament.

A group of people, wearing gloves, are gathered around a table in what appears to be a storage or work area, surrounded by shelves, clothing, and other items.

Students in Planet Green, Central Catholic's Environmental Club, and Love for Lazarus have launched an initiative to help our neighbors in need: A Winter Clothing Drive. Join us as we partner with Lazarus House Ministries and Ruth's House.

The Central Catholic Campus came alive with the Christmas Spirit this season! Please enjoy the photos from some of the many Christmas events in Raider Nation this year. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year from all of us on Hampshire Street!
