108 CCHS Students Named AP Scholars

In May 2018, 108 Central Catholic High School (CCHS) students achieved AP Scholar status or higher by scoring an average of 3.96 on a variety of AP (Advanced Placement) exams.

In total, 341 CCHS students took 721 AP exams in 26 different subject areas. AP exam scores are based on a scale of one (1-Lowest Score) to five (5-Highest Score). 

  • Seventy-eight percent (78%) of CCHS students received a score of three (3) or better, exceeding both the state (69.8%) and global (61.3%) averages.
  • Sixty-three percent (63%) of CCHS seniors took at least one AP exam.
  • Please note: Seniors who took the exams in May 2018 have graduated and now attend college - the names of which are listed with the students. The individuals listed as current students are now seniors at Central Catholic (Class of 2019).
