A Tribute to Two of our Most Faithful Raiders

A Tribute to Two of our Most Faithful Raiders

Over 85 years, Central Catholic continues to enjoy great success, which in large part is due to the leadership and commitment of faithful men and women whose hearts and minds were in tune with the mission of Central Catholic.

As a CCHS community, we mourn the passing of two extraordinary Raiders - G. Thomas Catalano '50 and Ronald T. Maheu '60, each having served as valued members of the Board of Directors, and whose contributions as leaders will continue to benefit our students for generations to come.

“At Central Catholic, we embrace our roots and the traditions that have made us who we are, while constantly looking to the future, to ensure that Central remains a visionary school that continues to be accessible to students today and tomorrow. Both Tom Catalano and Ron Maheu are great examples of where tradition meets vision,” said Christopher Sullivan '81, CCHS President.

“They both honored the role that Central played in their own lives by giving tremendously of their time, talent and treasure to ensure Central's present and future. Central Catholic is forever grateful for the legacy that these two gentlemen have shared with us generously, humbly and with hearts full of love.”

May perpetual light shine upon Thomas and Ronald and may their souls rest in eternal peace. We keep their families and the families of all of our deceased alumni and friends in our prayers and thoughts always.
