When the 13th Annual Catwalk4Cancer, originally scheduled for March 28, was cancelled because of the COVID-19 pandemic, this year's Committee refused to accept the event would not happen and produced a virtual event and video.
Catwalk4Cancer 2020 proudly presents...
The Red Carpet Special: Lights. Camera. Cure.
Thank you to all those who contributed photos and videos, and thank you to our sponsors!
This student-powered fashion event combines a love for fashion with an incredible cause, helping people with cancer, and has raised a total of over $350,000 in the past 12 years by bringing together over 900 people annually.
Over 300 student and faculty volunteers participate each year, planning, modeling clothes, promoting the event and ticket sales, assisting with production and audio/visual, and providing hospitality.
Catwalk4Cancer involves local businesses, families, and 300+ student and faculty volunteers each year.
They bring together people (and businesses) from all walks of life, united for one cause - helping those with cancer.
This year, funds raised through Catwalk4Cancer will support (list in progress):
- Anna Jacques Hospital and the Cancer Center
- Dana Farber and the Jimmy Fund
- Lawrence General Hospital
- The Lowell General Hospital TeamWalk for Cancercare
- Lucy's Love Bus
- The Central Catholic Family Fund
Thank you to all those who make this event possible, including the 2020 Catwalk4Cancer Committee, all of our volunteers, and everyone who supports this tremendous event!
