College 101: Insight & Advice from the Class of 2022

On May 17, 2023, several members of the Class of 2022 returned to give members of the Class of 2023 some college advice as part of College 101, a Senior Counseling Seminar offered by the CCHS Office of School & College Counseling.

This program was designed to provide graduating seniors with insights, perspectives, and first-person advice to help them make a smooth transition to college.

These alumni participated in a forum to respond to questions submitted by our seniors in advance of the program.

• Tips to prepare for academic success in college
• Dorm Life - sharing space and how to effectively communicate with your roommate 
• Getting Involved in the college community and exploring non-academic interests
• Self Care at college - making healthy decisions in college for physical and mental health 
• Budgeting for your freshman year - learning how to stretch your dollar

Following the program, seniors picked up their caps & gown for their Baccalaureate Mass & 85th Commencement Exercises.
