(Highest Scholastic Average Over Four Years)

“I am immensely grateful for the opportunity to attend Central Catholic. Not only did it teach me the value of hard work and dedication to my education, but it also taught me the value of creating family wherever I go. I know that I will take this mindset of creating an environment of love and acceptance into the years to come,” said Natalia.

This fall, Natalia will be attending Boston University as the recipient of the Cardinal Medeiros Scholarship which provides full-tuition for four years of undergraduate education.

While at CCHS, Natalia successfully completed 10 Advanced Placement (AP) courses and 11 AP Tests. She remained active in the CCHS community through her participation in Camp Champ, Campus Ministry, Catwalk4Cancer, National Honor Society, the Christmas Project, Student Ambassadors, Student Alumni Association, Track and Field, Visions Literary Magazine & Coffeehouse, Passport Club, and Math League. She also played soccer all four years and was a Captain her senior year.

In addition to her activities and sports, Natalia’s community service consisted of attending Project Rebuild during her junior year and assisting with the Special Field Games all four years.

Natalia’s siblings also attended Central Catholic: Andrew Clark '14, attended Fordham University, and twin brothers Alexander and Joshua Clark '15 both attended College of the Holy Cross. Natalia is the daughter of Mr. William Clark and Mrs. Kristina Clark.

“Central Catholic has encouraged me to be more involved in service throughout all aspects of my life.  I’ve had a lot of really good times at CCHS with my friends, through Campus Ministry, theatre, and choir.  I’ll never forget my experience leading the Encounter Retreat this fall - that has been one of the defining times of my life.  I got to know others better and helped bring them closer to each other and to Jesus, and I also got to know myself better. Central Catholic offered me many wonderful experiences that I will bring with me for the rest of my life.”

This fall, Maria will be attending Providence College in the Honors program as recipient of the St. Thomas Aquinas Scholarship which covers 80% of tuition costs.

In her time at CCHS, Maria successfully completed nine (9) Advanced Placement (AP) courses and nine (9) AP Tests. She was very involved in a variety of activities on campus including Campus Ministry, Catwalk4Cancer, Camp Champ, Theatre Guild, liturgical choir executive board, a cappella and concert choir. She also served as President of the National Honors Society and as a Freshmen Student Ambassador, while remaining a three-season athlete for three-years in Cross Country and winter and spring track.

Maria enjoyed participating in community service through CCHS such as tutoring in the Academic Success Center on campus.

Maria’s siblings also attended Central Catholic: Joseph Graziano ’10 who attended Providence College was Valedictorian for the Class of 2010, and Peter Graziano ’16, who currently attends Providence College, was Salutatorian for the Class of 2016. Maria is the daughter of Mr. Stan Graziano and Mrs. Nancy Graziano.

Congratulations to Natalia, Maria, and all members of the Class of 2019! Go, Raiders!
