Furry Friends Help Students De-Stress

Furry Friends Help Students De-Stress

It’s that time of year again – midterm exams – a typically stressful time in the life of a Central Catholic student. On Tuesday, January 14 and Thursday, January 16 during lunches, therapy dogs Loki, Oakley and Thor visited the CCHS campus and de-stressed students with their furry unconditional love.

The therapy dogs, who are handled by Joyce Hamlyn, are specially trained to help anxious humans!

In addition to therapy dogs, CCHS has a wide variety of ways in which students can chill out during midterms. From yoga and relaxation to CCHS President Christopher Sullivan '81 telling ‘Dad’ jokes, there is something for every student looking for a midterm escape.
