    • 7:40 - 9:50: English Exam
    • 10:15- 12:15: Mathematics Exam

Numerous programs are being offered during exam week to help students put themselves in the best position to succeed while keeping exams in perspective by practicing emotional wellness.

Below is a schedule that is subject to change.

The Week Before Exams

WOOF: De-Stress & Refresh with Furry Friends
11:20 AM – 1:00 PM; Tues., Thurs.; Library & Media Center – Hampshire Street Building
Take a break from exam prep and studying to pet a pooch the week before exams! A therapy dog team will be visiting the Library & Media Center during all three lunch blocks. Come by and relax before exams by getting a cuddle from these furry visitors.  1st lunch passes to see the dogs will be available all day on Monday, January 13, as well as before school as normal.  2nd & 3rd lunches are welcome to visit without passes. For questions, see Mrs. Keleher!

Cinema Club: Mean Girls
2:30PM, Friday, 1/17, Room G-03 – Hampshire Street Building
Cinema Club will be showing Mean Girls in room G03 at 2:30 on Friday 1/17. Join us to destress, laugh, and discuss the ethics and antics of high school before you start your studying! Snacks will be served and all are welcome.

 

TUESDAY of Exams

Silent Prayer & Reflection in the Chapel
7:15 AM, Tues., Wed., Thurs.; Carney Family Chapel - South Wing
The Chapel will be open for silent prayer and reflection before exams.

Guided Meditations/Relaxations with Ms. Martino 
7:20 AM, Tues., Wed.; Room 239 – Memorial Gymnasium Building
Join Religious Studies teacher Ms. Anne Martino for guided meditation/relaxations in her classroom.

Card Tricks with Mr. Benedetto
9:50 AM-10:05 AM, Tues.; Raider Café – Memorial Gymnasium
Come watch Mr. Robert Benedetto do card tricks while enjoying one of the donuts you can purchase that are available courtesy of Student Council.

Music Relaxation
9:50 AM - 10:05 AM; Tues. & Wed.; Music Suite - South Wing
The Music Suite will be open for students to relax and de-stress by playing music on the keyboards and pianos.

Comfort Food in the Raider Café
9:50 AM, 12:15 PM; Tues., Wed., Thurs.; Raider Café – Memorial Gymnasium
The Student Council with be selling donuts between exams and Elaine’s Pizza after exams in the Raider Café.

Guided Meditation with Mrs. Earline Tweedie
9:50-10:05, Tues., Wed., Thurs.; Carney Family Chapel – South Wing
Join our Director of Campus Ministry in the Chapel for a 15-minute guided meditation. This will provide breathing and relaxing techniques as well as getting in touch with God on a deeper level to provide a joy beyond understanding when under stress. 

Post-Exam Ping Pong & Foosball in the Gymnasium
12:15 PM, Tues., Wed., & Thurs.; Memorial Gymnasium
Relax and have some fun after exams by playing some ping pong and foosball. Reminder: Student Council will be selling Elaine’s pizza in the Raider Café.

Yoga & Relaxation with Peer Leaders
12:15 PM; Tues.; Music Suite - South Wing
Come do some stretching and deep breathing with your peers! Join us as we follow a beginner’s yoga class on YouTube to de-stress, unwind, and get the blood flowing! No experience required.

Art Club: Open Studio Relaxation & Creation
12:15 PM – 1:30 PM, Tues., Art Studio – Room 300 – Hampshire Street Building
Come relax and create during midterm exams week! Our Art Club meeting on Tuesday during exam week will be Zentangling & Coloring - Art Therapy! 

 

WEDNESDAY of Exams

Art Therapy with Peer Leaders
7:00 AM, 12:15 PM; Wed.; Room G05 - Hampshire Street Building
Calling all artists! (or not.) Come put your coloring skills to the test with Adult Coloring Pages. We will also have sticker-by-number books, where you can make masterpieces by simply putting stickers on paper.
