Raider Café Transformed into Modern Student Hub

Raider Café Transformed into Modern Student Hub

Central Catholic students can now purchase hot and iced coffee, hot chocolate, snacks and more before and after school in the newly renovated Raider Café, a contemporary gathering spot for students to socialize and study.

The Raider Café (formerly known as the Raider Pub, a gathering spot for generations of students) is located in the Memorial Gymnasium and was officially re-opened on Wednesday, February 5 as members of the CCHS Board of Trustees, student leaders, and faculty, staff and administration gathered for a ribbon cutting and blessing ceremony.

The transformation of the Raider Pub into the Raider Café is part of a continuous effort for Central Catholic to enhance the student-experience on campus. The students themselves raised the funds to renovate this space through the annual walkathon. Thank you to the students, the Parents Guild, and the many supporters of the Walkathon for making this possible!

Raider Café Enhancements include:

  • Modern exterior entrance with glass doors and CCHS branded signage;
  • Completely remodeled interior that now resembles a contemporary café environment with a marble-topped service area, bistro-style tables, and chairs and booths;
  • New appliances such as a refrigerator, freezer, popcorn machine, a large capacity coffee maker, hot chocolate machine and more.
  • Payment can now be made using Square technology, which allows patrons to use credit and debit cards.

The Raider Café is open for students, faculty and staff before and after school and is also utilized during sporting events, Student Council meetings, and other campus activities.

We look forward to seeing our current and future students enjoy the new Raider Cafe!
