As we prepared to Celebrate Catholic Schools week, we asked some of our parents to share their feelings about Central Catholic.
Sponsored by the National Catholic Education Association, Catholic Schools Week is an annual celebration designed to acknowledge the many benefits of Catholic education.
Central Catholic is joining with Catholic schools across the county to celebrate our identity as a Catholic school this week (Jan. 27 - Feb. 2).
This year's theme of “Learn. Serve. Lead. Succeed.” is a message near and dear to the heart of Central Catholic High School's mission.
Who better to ask about the value of a Central Catholic education than our parents?
They have witnessed first-hand the positive, multi-faceted learning experience their children receive through the gift of a CCHS education.

“As proud parents of a freshman and junior at Central Catholic, we're very pleased with the current environment that our children have grown to love. The fact that CCHS students feel as though they are accepted for who they really are sets the stage for success and continued growth beyond high school. One of our main observations about Central Catholic is that the staff is extremely passionate and they genuinely seem to care about the students. Also, there doesn’t appear to be any shortage of technological tools either. Both of our children are serious about doing well with their studies, and they truly understand and appreciate how Central Catholic is helping them to build a foundation and prepare them for the rigorous responsibilities of college and adulthood.”

“Our son Javier is in love with Central Catholic and so are we! Javier is the second child from our family to attend CCHS. He was always a shy kid while in middle school, but since starting at CCHS, he has grown into a confident young man. He participates in sports which has helped him tremendously in forming new friendships, and he has adapted well due to the impressive diversity on campus which allowed him to integrate easier. Javier’s teachers all have great things to say about our son and he speaks very highly of them as well. Javier's happiness at CCHS is not surprising to us, because we already had a wonderful experience at Central with our oldest son Alex, who is now on his last year of law school. Alex, like Javier, integrated easily into the school. We love the school's values and what it stands for. If we had any other children ready to go to school, we wouldn't hesitate to send her/him to CCHS."

“Central Catholic is taking the lead in our daughter Julianna’s development, and academically, she has the opportunity to be challenged through various levels of courses so she can maximize her learning abilities. Julianna also participates in several extracurricular activities at CCHS including the community service program, where she is able to give back to those who are less fortunate. Our daughter is also really interested in leadership opportunities, many of which are readily available at Central Catholic. The faculty at Central Catholic have been so supportive of all of Julianna’s efforts, and they provide her with the confidence to be her best self. She has been able to succeed academically because of the support of the staff, her teachers, and her guidance counselor. Overall, CCHS provides a stable, nurturing, caring, and loving environment at this critical time in our daughter’s life. Central plays a key role in developing students as people of God - we believe Julianna is learning this at CCHS and we highly value this part of her Catholic education and formation.”
