The 'Pop Your Trunk' for Thanksgiving Food & Clothing Drive

Join us for our annual Thanksgiving Food & Clothing Drive to support our neighbors at Lazarus House Ministries.

Pop Your Trunk for Lazarus House!

  • 6:30 AM - 8:00 AM
  • 1:30 PM - 2:30 PM

No glass please!

  • Canned Corn
  • Canned Mixed Vegetables
  • Canned Ravioli
  • Canned Tomatoes
  • Canned Fruit
  • Canned Beans
  • Canned Chicken/Tuna
  • Mac & Cheese
  • Rice (2 lb bags or boxes)
  • Pasta
  • Peanut Butter (16 oz jars)
  • Snacks
  • Juices

Lazarus House accepts donations of new or gently used clothing.

  • If you’re unsure of the condition of your donation and wondering if it’s “gently used,” ask yourself: “Would I give this to my best friend?”
  • Please keep in mind that any donations that are considered unusable must be disposed of at the Ministry’s expense.)
  • Please do not donate anything stained or torn.

Our Annual Thanksgiving Prayer Service

On Tuesday, November 22, the Central Catholic community will be coming together for our Annual Thanksgiving Prayer Service.

Thank you in advance to Campus Ministry for coordinating the prayer service and to the Liturgical Band & Chorus for sharing their musical talents.

12:30 PM, Wednesday, November 23, 2022: The Lawrence Reservoir

On the day before Thanksgiving, please join us and many other alumni and friends of CCHS in running or walking the 5k around the Reservoir!

Following the race, there will be post-race pizza served in Baroni Hall.

In true X-C spirit, the run will happen, rain (snow) or shine!

  • Wednesday, November 23
  • Locker rooms open at 11:30 AM
  • Race begins at 12:30 PM
  • Location: Lawrence Reservoir at Tower Hill
  • Register online or by mail by Nov. 18

Registration is donation optional. All proceeds benefit the Peter O'Sullivan Memorial Scholarship Fund.

The Thanksgiving Day Football Game

The Raider Football Team will be battling Lawrence High School in our annual Thanksgiving Day Game at Lawrence Veterans Memorial Stadium.

Come together with generations of Raiders!

Beyond Thanksgiving: Christmas at Central Catholic

A musical extravaganza featuring the CCHS Bands, Choirs, Chamber Groups, and more!

The Central Catholic Band and Chorus Program will perform a variety of musical tunes to get the Central Catholic Community into the Christmas spirit.

Complimentary admission.

Band performances will feature the Jazz Band, Percussion Ensemble, Concert Band, and Chamber Ensembles.

Choral performances will feature our a cappella group Central Harmony and the Concert Choir.


The Raider Family Christmas Gift-Wrapping Party

Alumni, friends, and current families are invited to join us for a Family Christmas Gift Wrapping Party filled with cheer sponsored by the Student Alumni Association.

Bring your family and enjoy hot chocolate, treats, holiday crafts and movies with a special appearance by Santa himself!

Admission is one new children's toy per family.
