Adriel Javier '23 Recognized by Lawrence City Council

Congratulations to Adriel Javier '23, who was recently recognized by the Lawrence City Council as the top Central Catholic graduate from Lawrence.

Through an ongoing initiative led by Councilor Marc Laplante, the current president of the Lawrence City Council, the Lawrence resident who is the top graduate of Central Catholic is annually honored with the presentation of a Council resolution congratulating the student on their success.

Adriel Javier '23, the highest achieving 2023 graduate from the City of Lawrence, was recognized by the City Council at the July 6 City Council Meeting.

Council President Laplante summarized Adriel’s accomplishments in the formal resolution. Adriel graduated with a cumulative GPA of 4.55. Over his years at CCHS Adriel earned straight A grades in very challenging curricula including eight AP and 14 Honors level courses.

When it came to the study of languages, Adriel excelled in four years of Honors Mandarin Chinese. Forsaking a study period, Adriel took a seventh CCHS class in engineering and computer sciences.

At CCHS, Adriel was a leading member of the Robotics Club, Coding Club and the Civilizations Club. He is an avid Formula 1 racing fan.

Adriel has faithfully volunteered as a tutor for middle school students at Bellesini Academy in Lawrence, his grade school alma mater.

With an interest in majoring in mechanical engineering, Adriel in September will be a scholarship student at Case Western Reserve University, Cleveland, Ohio.

The CCHS community proudly congratulates Adriel as the top Lawrence resident and graduate of the Class of 2023.
